So, two car accidents in one year. Last night, I got t-boned by a girl who ran a stop sign, and now the whole right passenger front corner is smushed. My airbag deployed. It was quite the experience. It wasn't as traumatizing as the last one because I didn't have time to react, and I didn't swerve or spin or flip or anything. It was just BAM!
Kiyoko took me to the hospital to get my very painful chest checked out, but nothing is broken -- just a contusion from the airbag. I'm hurting today, but the good news is, my back and neck feel just fine.
On the bright side, I get a new car and a staycation (the rest of the week off of teaching, per my mentor teacher's insistence.
On the not bright side, I have to do all that tedious insurance and police report stuff.
On the bright side, the other girl is okay.
On the bright side, I'm alive.

Glad to hear you have no serious injuries! My mom broke her sternum after getting rear-ended once, and that is just not pleasant. You seem to be a bit unlucky in the getting-run-into department...
